Review: My-Stash Lacquer California Dreamin'

I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday, if there is such a thing! Back to work and the weekend never seems quite long enough! I hope those of you who are Mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day! I spent yesterday with my Mom and am thankful that I have her to spend time with!

I spent all day Saturday catching up on weeks worth of American Idol and still am not caught up! It's one of those shows that I do not realize that I have missed until I haven't watched it and spend countless hours catching up, swatching, and working on my blog! :-)

*****************************************
I have for you today another polish from Danielle from My-Stash Lacquer. This polish is named California Dreamin' and OMG ladies this polish is a glitter topper with multi-color glitters and BUTTERFLIES!!! First off, who does not love butterflies?! They are just so girly and precious!

I applied this polish over China Glaze "For Audrey", however this color would be amazing over ANY color polish you wanted to pair with! :-)

When I first saw this polish I knew that I HAD to have it!!!! I will be purchasing a full-size of this polish to have on hand!!!!

Let's get down to the basics- Application was beautiful! I did not have to fish for glitter, she has NAILED her polishes when it comes to glitters! I applied 2 coats in the picture below and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Bottom line- My-Stash Lacquer has blown be away again!!! This polish is a MUST have! If you are new to indies I think that you should branch out and try her polishes!

Review: Liquid Glam Lacquer- PLUS RAFFLECOPTER GIVEAWAY!!!!

Hey there Ladies! I thought this past week was never going to end! Have you ever had one of those weeks where it seems like everything that could go wrong, does? I don't like to complain too often so when I do you know that it has been something that I have really let get to me!

I don't know about you, but I love this time of year! I love watching the trees bloom and the flowers grow! This time of year is also the busy time of year for weddings!

Today I have some swatches for you from Liquid Glam Lacquer. This is from her newest collection released on May 1st, the Lets get Married Collection!!!! This collection is so fitting for this time of year and the polishes are all fitting for all year! I thoroughly enjoyed this collection... So let's dive in!

*****************************************

Happily Ever After is a rosy but iridescent polish that shimmers and shines with gold, pink and purple. I layered it over China Glaze "In a Lily bit" from the City Flourish collection.

This polish applied very smooth! what is swatched is 2 coats, as you see this glitter is very sparse but it gives the perfect amount of glitter to layer over practically any color! Stunning glitter topper!

Tie the Knot is such a stunning polish! there are iridescent glitters, red glitters, small sheer hearts and black bows! I put this over a white polish by Sinful colors and for the ring finger I stamped using a Moyou London plate and a Pure Ice silver polish.

The bows is what made me fall in love with this polish in the bottle. When I applied the polish the red glitters made me swoon!!!! The red glitters were so sparkly and beautiful! I did have to fish for the bows, however that is to be expected when they are mixed with the smaller glitters. I found that putting the bottle upside down for about 30 seconds assisted in getting them out. This polish is just beautiful!

Platinum Ring is a beautiful silver polish with micro silver glitters. I applied it with no undies, and topped with a top coat.

This polish is beautiful! I did find that it was a bit streaky during application, however when I applied top coat it seemed to smooth it all out and the streaks mostly disappeared. Without topper it dried to a slight texture finish with a very pretty satin finish.

The Reception is a beautiful beige crelly polish with a variety of colored glitter through-out. No undies in the swatch and about 3 coats gives an opaque finish with NVL.

I liked this polish so well that after I was finished swatching I applied to both hands and wore this beauty to work! This polish is work appropriate for any office job! I applied a Matte Top coat which really helps show the different color glitters. This polish is going to be a favorite for me and will definitely be a staple to my collection! :)

The Bouquet is a pale pink crelly polish with bright pink hex glitters and iridescent hexes throughout. Applied beautifully in 3 coats with little fishing for the larger glitters. I stamped on the ring finger with a MoYou London stamping plate and a Sally Hansen insta-dry polish.

This polish is gorgeous! It is so beautiful and dainty and has the right about of color and sparkle! I loved the application! Everything about this polish is girly, fun, flirty, and screams princess! I think this polish would be great for a wedding or a date night!

These polishes by Liquid Glam Lacquer were beautiful! All polishes are a BIG 5 FREE and are hand blended!

Along with polishes she also makes other products for hands and skin which can be found HERE. I was lucky enough to receive a cuticle oil (which will be featured in a cuticle care blog coming soon) which was scented amazingly like peach!

Review: Tip Top South Africa

Good Morning! :) I'm so happy it's Wednesday! I hope your week hasn't been too hard on you! I thought it was spring, but it turns out winter isn't ready to let go! Monday night I went to bed with my AC on and Tuesday I woke up having to use a snow brush before I went to work! The day went on as usual! How is the weather where you are? :-)

Without further delay-

I have a review for you! I have five beautiful polishes for you by Tip Top Nails South Africa!!! I have heard so much about these polishes from other bloggers and other nail pages, and was so anxious to try them out on my own!

Feeling blue-tiful is a super beautiful bright/navy blue. This color is absolutely beautiful! I did not want to take it off of my fingers! :-) The color went on perfectly in 2 coats, no streaks and am absolute DREAM to apply! It was so smooth and easy to apply!

Get the Party Started is an amazing neon pink, somewhat of a crelly finish (almost jelly, almost creme). My camera wanted to freak out when I was trying to capture this beauty! The color is just amazing! I can imagine wearing this color on my fingers and toes while on the beach! It takes me to a special place! It is such a beautiful color. I might add that there is NO top coat on any of these polishes, I was expecting this one as a neon to dry to a matte finish, but it was so squishy! Applied perfectly in 2 coats!

No Way Rose is the prettiest rose shade that is perfect for young or old and I think it would also be beautiful on any skin tone! :) It is also so smooth and so easy to apply as well. The color is brilliant and is perfect for any time of year! This will be a color that I know I will be grabbing for!

I Can't Tel a Lilac is a duo ended polish with a deep purple- leaning a bit navy and a pearl finished light purple color on the other end. I have to say that I LOVE the look of these two polishes together! It mixes light and dark together and is very fitting for any skin tone! Formula is excellent!

I Pink I'm In Love is another double ended polish it is a pink/coral and pearl finished light pink on the other end. The pinkish coral applied beautifully and I could wear it alone anytime! I really wanted to love the pink pearl as I have nothing like it. However it was a bit streaky and difficult to apply evenly. I had brush strokes a plenty with this polish.

These are the five polishes which were sent to me by Tip Top Nails South Africa in consideration for review. I give honest opinions in my reviews and would never attempt to mislead you with purchasing any product!

I have to say, my overall review of these products is that they are amazing! They apply like a dream and are extremely durable! Please head on over to their Facebook Page to like them and to see what great tips and products they have! :-)

Xoxo-

Accent Mani for Thursday- L'oreal and Wet n Wild

Afternoon Nail lovers! I hope your Thursday is all you hoped it would be! The plus side, only one more day until the weekend! :) It's been one of the longest weeks ever here in the bluegrass! We've had temps in the upper 70's to upper 80's with what feels like 100% humidity. Yesterday was so awful I felt the need to take 3 showers with this sticky ickness! So far, today hasn't been much better!

With all of that being said, one of my "plus-sides" to yesterday was the Mani I thought to throw together! It's glam meets girly! It's the perfect soft pink which on it's own would be a beautifully muted look. I added a bit of sparkle with a nail polish I'm now considering to be a "hidden gem"!

I used 3 coats of L'oreal's Penthouse pink on all of the fingers except the ring finger. On the Ring finger I used a .99 cent polish from my local CVS, It's a Wet n Wild Wild Shine Polish in Sparked.

Can we just take a second to look at the beauty of this glitter! It's a beautiful Rosy glitter mixed with with the same sized Silver glitters in a clear base. It's Opaque in 2-3 coats and just sparkly as all get out!!!!

Penthouse Pink was a little harder to apply. It's a pink/white polish which I love, however it's somewhat streaky and took 3 sheerish coats to become opaque.

Here it is! :D

I tried to capture the beautiful glitter in this polish but it seems to make my camera go a little crazy! It's such a beautiful "Foil" type quality glitter. The L'oreal color is easily duped by other white/pinks such as Essie Fiji, OPI Pink Friday, and I'm sure many others you may already have in your collection!

I hope you enjoyed my Thusday mani, I'm sure I'll have more for you soon! Have an awesome Friday and leave a comment below telling me your favorite combo with a glitter accent nail! :-)
